“Chiefs” F-105B Thunderchiefs of the 335th TFS
“Chiefs” is an 18X24 inch fine art print of my artwork featuring a formation of four Republic F-105B Thunderchiefs that were flown by the 335th Tactical Fighter Squadron (4th TFW), better known as the “Chiefs.”
The USAF assigned the 335th TFS to evaluate the Thunderchief as a fighter aircraft. They were also the first USAF unit to accept the aircraft in 1959. The squadron flew the ‘105 until 1967, when they transitioned to the McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II.
“Chiefs” is a limited edition of 20 hand-signed and numbered prints. Each is printed on acid-free archival paper so the colors are vivid for years to come with proper care. Each of my prints is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, which bears my signature, the print number, and other information.
